Huts

Our huts and pods make a great alternative to camping. That extra bit of comfort really can make all the difference! While the shepherds huts have ready installed beds and facilities, the pods are a blank canvas. This is reflected in the cost - with huts being slightly more expensive. Our glamping pods give you a camping experience while being safe in the knowledge you will be warm and comfortable. Just simply bring your own bedding!

Walks

Because all the glamping pods are based in rural locations, there are always activities on the doorstep. You could choose to walk up a fell, or take it easier on the lower levels. The roads are also fantastic for cycling, and there are a number of forest parks nearby. Have a relaxing holiday or use the pods as an outdoor base - the choice is yours. One thing is for sure ; you won't get bored..

Animals

Due to its variety of landscapes. The Lake District is home to a wealth of animals and wildlife. The most famous everyday sight are the flock of Herdwick sheep, small but renowned for their toughness! Red squirrels can still be seen in parts of the National Park, one of the last remaining areas in England. Deer are another animal you may see - especially if you are up early, before the crowds appear.
